Are you feeling stuck like one of them?

I recently hosted an event. There were three attendees that stood out to me.

The Restart

I met a mother who made some sacrifices with her career. Now that her kids are adults, she was eager to get back to the career she had before she had kids. The problem, she has been out of that role for sometime and felt like she was no longer qualified.

The Young And Curious

A parent brought their teenager to the event in hopes to figure out what major he should take in University. He was a super bright young man who was keen on science but not 100% which field. They wanted him to be confident in the field he chooses.

The Covid

This attendee worked very hard with long hours pre-Covid. Now he was wondering how he could continue to grow in his career while creating more work-life balance without falling back into his old work habits.

The Fire Movement

This person was very curious about how he could earn large sums of money so he could retire. He was curious about what others do besides investing.

All of these attendees had something in common.

INSECURITY

Insecure about their:

• Financial status

• Ability to make the right decision

• Their experiences

There is no security in life. There is no sure thing. There is no perfect person for any job. There is no right or wrong way to approach any situation.

One thing is certain, if we do nothing and do not take the leap and take a chance, we are going to be stuck right where we are. Nothing will change unless something changes.
